400 total yards to break faulk
like 480 rush yards to break dickerson

hes definately going to break faulks... by probably 100 yards.

dickerson is possible. he needs like 170 yards for the last 3 games. i really hope he breaks it since an opportunity like this probably wont come up again even for a guy like CJ.

Faulks record is in real jeopardy. Falling off the pace on the run side the last two games probably puts Dickerson out of reach, but not CJ2K. It will be pretty special to have 2K running and break the all-purpose records even if the rushing only number isn't quite there. Get well VY, you're running mate needs to have you as a decoy. :)

To say that he cannot catch Dickerson would be to ignore his whole season. He can go the house is less than 5 seconds. One big run plus a 27 carriy game is 200 yards. He could very easily have a 200 yard game against any of these teams because frankly it doesn't matter who the team he is. He is the fastest player in the league. He can break one on anybody at any time.

I think he has a real shot to do it.

What will help him is if the Defense crowds the box. Getting those db's into the box may lead to bigger runs.

It's gonna be a fun ride.

He almost seems too eager to try and bust the huge ones at the moment. A lot of tip-toeing or sidelining where you can see he is waiting for that big gap.. but sometimes you just need to hit the crease and then work your moves, not the other way around.

But what do I know? ;)

ive read what your saying, i too said probably only faulks record.

but another 90+ run this weak would be a step in the right direction..90 steps hahah. im not saying he cant do it...but (saying this kinda hurts) but he needs to pick up the pace.

At this point I see him barely breaching the 2k mark. Possibly breaking the yrds from scrim...........but not the pure rush record.

Too many Ds are getting to know how he runs through the gaps and wont let him get the homeruns he needs. Its funny though...........people "tune" for him and still barely hold him to 100 yrds.

Its classic when a team thinks a good day vs you is to hold you to 100 rushing yards

It will be hard, but I honestly think he will do both. When a guy has 117 yards with 2 rushing TDs and it's considered a bad day for him, then you know he's capable of burning anyone at any time.

I don't buy the theory that teams will be gunning for him, so he can't break one anymore. What were they doing in the first 13 games? Was anyone going in trying to stop Kerry or Vince? No way will 2 playoff hopefuls sell out and throw the game just to keep him from a record like the Rams did - Miami and SD don't have the incentive for that, and don't have the speed of Indy.

He's 17 yards behind Dickerson after 13 games, who finished with 149, 215 and 98. IF Vince plays I see him getting it done. Faulks record is as good as gone.

Id love to see him break both, but I think realistically the rams game was suppose to be one of his BIG games...

I think CJ could rush for 300 yards against the seahawks alone...
