I see a lot of people pointing to this...but I really don’t see it. I mean, maybe if there was some concrete evidence that they playoff experience made you more likely to go back to the playoffs.... but that’s not happening.

Really I think this is just silly to believe playing in the playoffs will make us better at all. Video game society. Xp points ain’t real life. All that playoff experience sure helped us so much the season after we last made the playoffs

Or just go back one year prior.

We made the playoffs in 2007 and lost in SD in the wild card round. What'd that playoff experience translate into in 2008? A loss after the bye at home.

If playoff experience is so awesomely powerful Super Bowl experience must be even better. Makes you wonder how super bowl hangovers are so common...

But with a 13-3 #1 seed. I think the playoff experience in 07 paid off in games like pit in 08. Unfortunately we all got got by fisher and the dirty rat birds.

im assuming the poll is the question of does it help.

I think it does. Having the team experience a 1 and done game vice always knowing week 17 is the end matters. We've all seen teams play differently and unpredictable results happen come post season time. The only way for players to get used to it, is experience it.

I also think it's a motivating thing that players take to the next season. Feeling so close (3 games or 1) to a SB and falling short.

Where I think the SB hangover comes in, is the victory of conference. Almost as if success was making it to the SB, not necessarily winning it. When teams lose, I think it's deflating despite having "reached the top" so to speak.

    Clearly just opinion though.

alge crumpler and a bunch of other players and factors. I'll stick to blaming fisher for only putting up 10 points and crumpler fumbling away another 7.

I could always ride out the non delay of game call too.

i gave him a pass for a couple of those years coming into the playoffs with such a banged up team. After failing the 4th time, I feel it's him, similar to Jeff fisher.
