Other team that pursued free-agent wide receiver Wes Welker was the Tennessee Titans, per source familiar with situation.

Wes Welker is a total douche. Only wants to play for an elite QB. Even at that would leave NE for the same deal with Denver, and turns down more money from us. You will burn for this, Welker.

 

Guy is old, don't blame him for going to a contender.

 

No, Peyton Manning is old. F*ck this contender Shizz, Welker just knows he sucks without a great QB who can make him look better.

 

Who cares if Manning is old, he's still pretty decent and the Broncos are much better than we are.

Who could really blame him? Let's see.... a team that was a SB favorite last year with Peyton Manning as their QB or a 6-10 team with Jake Locker as their QB (and a HC who may be coaching his last year)? Come on guys, that's not a tough decision at all.

The vast majority of non-Titan fans don't consider us a serious contender. Heck I'd say at least half of Titan fans don't consider us one either. Let's not get all butthurt over it.
