    He'd be a loss for sure.

    It's positive that Conklin has got to questionable status. I wasn't expecting him this week, but that would make me pretty confident he should be ready next week. Which will probably be the healthiest the team has been yet this year.

    Was hoping for better news today regarding Mariota - I suspect he'll be wearing a cap on Sunday again unfortunately. This week is much more important than next week vs Philly. Only encouraging news is we haven't signed a 3rd string QB which makes me think he must be very close.

    For sure, but we didn’t suit up a 3rd string QB last week if I recall. My guess is, Gabbert starts and Mariota is suited up on the sideline. I don’t think Conklin plays this week at all....

    I'm not a doctor, but my guess would be Gonnoherpasyphilitis. Anything else they'd probably tell us. Maybe he spent his summer in Thailand ;)

    I think we'd be okay with Rak, Landry, Morgan and Finch. I'm still in disbelief that we have some depth at this position.
