To even be in playoff discussion is a huge accomplishment.

What makes me happier is that I don't see this team regressing in any way. It's good to be a Titans fan again. We're not there yet, but "we're close".

 

Traditionally we suck at winning period. That's 7.

Traditionally we lose every game that's close. By allowing every blowout to turn into close games, we're doing better in that category too.

 

Finally good to not looking forward the draft and the season being over by week 6. It's nice for a change.

 

wasnt mm fault. our coaches set him up to fail with basic ass play calling and ****ttty basic wr routes that our offense is full of. Plus our wrs sucks and broncos have good corners that gets away with everything.

 

Doesn't matter if it was his fault or not, he just needs to approach next week as f he didn't have a rough game today.

I'm OK with Mariota's play today. He was amazing in the run and scramble, he kept drives alive, he was intelligent with the ball, only had 1 throw into traffic that was in danger of hurting the team ... we knew he wasn't coming in to 350yds and 3 TDs today. His % was horrific, but if our run game and defense can perform like they did, then I'll take the 125 scrimmage yard and 0 turnovers against a defense like this. Could be a very similar game next week, too.

Hopefully we have Wright in the game next week, too. That could've made a difference in the middle today, too.

 

I still don't think the play by Douglas was dirty. If there's nobody blocking up top, you are allowed to cut block ... every team cut blocks. Dirty play of the year was trying to rip Douglas's head off 8 yards out of bounds and 10 seconds after the play was over. We will take the yards, though.

Winning the next 2 doesn't guarantee a playoff spot, though ... it only guarantees us a meaningful game Week 17 with out own destiny in our hands. Winning the next 2 with some help and we can could be controlling a Wild Card spot, though.

 

We can technically still squeeze in even if we lose to KC as long as Houston loses to CIN. It will all come down to the last game against Houston.
