Weird, can't admit you were wrong with your egregious statement? You said, MM8 never showed flashes of top QB play then JCB showed stats to prove you wrong. I can't recall a time you were right about a player besides saying Henry sucks which I don't think is off.

Carr was a 2nd-round pick. Mariota is a 1st-round pick. Different rules on contracts. The Raiders haven't extended Khalil Mack yet, who was drafted the same year as Carr and is an NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

It's simply the facts about how a first-round rookie contract works in terms of the second contract versus a second-round rookie contract. Using Deuce Wayne's logic, the Raiders weren't sold on Khalil Mack at this time last year even though he was NFL DPOY.
