Titans to Sign CB Malcom Butler

Very solid pickup! The biggest Cb in FA this yr and we landed him. Hes also tied down for 5 years!! I dont think we can go wrong with this signing. Lets bring on the other Patriot... Follow Butlers footsteps Lewis

I guess it's a good move but I do have some questions.

Butler was so inessential to the Patriots that they sat him for the Super Bowl. Even though that was dumb, it really tells you what they thought of him. And someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Butler get burned for both touchdowns in the Titans-Pats playoff game? He's good but not elite and never will be.

It's an upgrade for the Titans for sure, but to me it's not a slam dunk signing. Should have just paid Boye last year.
