Defense got this team on its back. Offense was embarrassingly bad. We are literally 1 dimensional.

 

When the line is inconsistent in blocking for both the run and passing game...inconsistent offense tends to happen. CD was pretty good last year...but the OL, our other wr's, RB's, Mariota...all inconsistent. Not terrible all the time...but too inconsistent putting way too much pressure on the D. And even our great D had a few problem games too.

So yes, let's hope the line gets fixed, Walker is back healthy, Henry runs like last December, Mariota stays healthy and plays his A game a lot more consistently...and we hurt teams with our wr corp (possibly the most improved unit in talent)!!!

10 games vs playoff teams is an easy schedual? PFF wild for that bs

 

I like how PFF say the Titans will win roughly 8 games this year and finish last in the AFC south. But the guy writing the article at the end says how good PFF is...and THEN ignores their assertions when he says in conclusion...

I don't see a regression. We played a tough schedule missing some key players with a walking wounded qb1 and nothing at qb2. The additions we made will get us a couple more wins.

 

Got better on offense on paper. We get Walker back.

If the defense improves we could be contenders. Ceiling Super Bowl

 

If Mariota all of a sudden figures it out and stays healthy, I could see a deep playoff run, and serious contenders in 2021.

If we end up needing a rookie, make it 2022, if he's legit.

 

If Mariota puts it together, if Henry runs like last December all year, if the OL holds up, if Walker stays healthy, if CD takes another step and Brown/Hump/Taylor give us another 2 legit weapons, and the D stays great...we will be contenders this year.

If we can get through this schedule with 10 wins and have a good division record, we can play with any team.

 

Yeah, we won 9 games last year with a QB that played in a wheelchair, our top WR pouting and deciding to quit, our top TE out in the 1st game of the year, and Blaine Gabbert as our backup QB.
