But do you not remember we did this last year? A year ago there were something like 6 active starters found outside the first round at OLB.

And just an obvious observation but for the last several years both our starting OLBs were 1st rd picks

 

I may be bored next week and have time to look into

I remember last year Clark and I determined that over 25 years the Titans/Oilers have done better in the 4th and 5th rounds than they did in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

take a casual look and you will see what I am talking about. I went back to the 1993 draft.

we only had two second rounders who made it past their rookie deal.

Two guys out of close to 30 second round picks (some years we had more than one second rounder. once we had 3, before 2016)

 

Titans have a lot of bad years because of scouting

 

there were years where we took a guy in the second, then took the same position in the 4th. The guy in the 4th was a star and the guy in the 2nd was a bust.
