Titans need a TE so bad

Can Coby Fleener block anybody?

Interesting that Nfl draft scout has him ranked as the #1 TE in the draft but as a potential 2-3 rd pick.

 

Cook has made more key blocks in the past 2 games than Stevens has.

Don't believe Jeff Fisher's garbage he spewed while here.

 

Fleener comes from a pro style offense and can do it all

 

I think a lot of this is just how we are using them compared to other teams. I hardly ever see a TE going over the middle, they like using cook as a replacement wr. And we just havnt been throwing to wrs passed 5-10 yard hook routes and check downs. This is true, if you don't believe me, go watch some Titan football and wonder Where the f the receivers are. You see the quick throw 90 % of the time.

 

even if Cook can block as good as Stevens, which I dont agree with, Stevens seems capable of doing it without holding.

Blocking TEs shouldn't cost a 3rd pick. Drafting TEs early = mistake.

 

Keep surpassing yourself as the board idiot with each post? When Stevens was out they used a backup lineman in his place. Yeah right he can't block. :sad2:

 

I didn't say he can't block. That's all he CAN do.

Which is why he was never worth a 3rd round pick.


We can find any journey-man TE that blocks well for the vet minimum.

Uuuh Stevens has made more productive use of his limited chances than Cook has.
