“Who’s better than mariota”
It seems Georgia might change their MO and look to attack more downfield. We'll see how he looks then but I haven't been too impressed with what I've seen so far. I feel like he has a lot of great athletes at the skill positions making him look better than he is.
Robinson has to put an end to the Titans quarterbacks as cautionary tales theme when he gets his guy this spring.
I really can't watch this franchise fail another quarterback.
I’m not saying Tannehill is God’s gift to the QB position, but he can flat out throw a football light years better than MM8. Our defense hasn’t given up more than 20 points in a game this season, and we are 2-4. If your defense is holding the opposing teams to under 20 points per game consistently, you don’t have to be Tom Brady to win games. Tannehill can actually, consistently, hit WR’s downfield which will not only make our passing game now relevant, but also open up the run game for Henry to be more successful on top of that. As long as the OL can figure out how to get their chit together and keep Tannehill relatively upright and un-injured, I think we are in a much better spot going into week 7 than we would have been with MM8. I was considering selling my tickets for the game this weekend, since we suck and it’s supposed to rain, but I will definitely be going now to see if Tannehill can bring a spark Nissan Stadium. Titan Up!
Lol so true. He was setup for success this year, but looked too scared to make a mistake. This change had to be made.
I get this, but the staff still felt he was a better option than Eason and Fields, so he has to have some pretty elite talent himself.
Yep. Big arms and fleet feet and towering physiques are nice. But qb is a position where you live and die with your eyes and brain. Brees and Brady don't have big arms, can't run, and aren't huge. They tear the league a new one.
I could care less about combine numbers and physical attributes. The interview and film study is how you pick a qb. Get me a smart hard worker who understands the game and has desire to dominate.
No more dual threat gimmick quarterbacks..get a passer
