    You might want to up your protein intake to help with recovery. Most of what I've read suggests you take in at 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight and many state that 2.5g per pound is actually ideal. I try to stick to 1g per pound. I don't think my body can handle 2.5.

    And everything Ive learned says your body cant break down much more than 50g at a time. Protein takes a lot of water out of your body.

    I've heard the same. This is why many go with the 6 meals a day approach which allows them to take in high amounts of protein. I've also seen a gallon or so a day of water be recommended.

    Well it's whey so it is dairy. Whey=dairy.

    That's false. Our bodies are extremely complex and not so black and white that we can put a definitive number on how much protein can be synthesized.

    The 6 meals every two hours or whatever the hell that old outdated bull**** is well, bull****.
