Reminds me of this German bearing manufacturer that has a bunch of factories in this area. People that work there say the name of the company as though it is an acronym, but it is not, that is the actual name

Did you see their secondary? they were trading for other teams backups middle of the year trying to fill spots.

Coaches can only do so much. Talented players will make most coaches look good and the reverse is true also.

So their defense struggled doing what ours did but ours didn’t struggle. Why the change?
We had Tye Smith, Brock, Sims, and Hooker (listed as S) after losing butler for the year and Jackson for multiple weeks. Overall, I’d say the secondary was still the strong point of the D even during the KC game.

Makes zero sense to hire a midget to coach our secondary. How the hell will he see the players from the sideline?

Check the stats on that. Titans defense (secondary in particular) was one of the worst in the league after Butler’s injury.

    Yards.

Titans finished 24th in pass defense. Texans were 29th.

But Titans were top 15 unit in all categories the first half of the year.

    Butler got injured week 9.

    First 9 games DY/PA
    244/13, 121/19, 204/20, 364/10, 204/14, 167/16, 326/20, 283/23, 214/30

    After butler injury DY/PA
    433/32, 252/20, 309/17, 258/21, 234/24, 275/38, 192/14, 209/13, 345/12, 292/35

I’d say it was pretty close before and after injury especially considering we lost Jackson also for much of the second half and any games to adjust for the FA signings.

Ok. We should consider competition and, as far as league ranking, the lack of pass rush.

I’m not saying this secondary excelled, but based on almost the same scenario as Houston in regards to injury, titans did much better and I’ll argue with bigger losses (injuries).

Houston relies on pass rush to help a weaker secondary, Tennessee obviously doesn’t value pass rush so they rely on 3 excellent CB’s.

364 on 10 passing attempts? Which game was this?
