I heard this guy hyped up by a few experts leading into the draft, I don't know much about him but some are saying we got a steal. From the sound of it we got a big CB who can press (which was pointed out in the press conference) and has good measurables. Hopefully this guy pushes Verner in and we have a nice trio.

    Really excited about this team.

I've been on this board for 3 years and I don't think you've liked a single pick besides Hunter. You need to quit being such a cynic. We have gotten some pretty good players with picks that most of the fan base didn't like.

Since you've been here for 3 years, I'll fill you in on the ones I have openly liked:

    1. Morgan - hated it. Said he'd be hurt too often, and merely "solid" which isn't what you spend a 1st rounder on.

    2. Damien Williams - Thought it was a good pick. Nothing great, but solid. Called it a "reach".

    3. Rennie Curran - Thought it was a stupid pick.

    4. Alterraun Verner - Loved the pick.

    5. Robert Johnson - Liked this pick. Was wrong.

    6. Rusty Smith - Well... nothing really to lose in the 6th. No real opinion.

    7. Myron Rolle - Thought it was cool he got drafted. Didn't expect him to ever contribute.

    8. Marc Mariani - Thought it was an ok pick for the round.

    9. David Howard - Had no opinion.

    1. Jake Locker - Liked it. Pretty sure I was wrong. Thought it was a "reach".

    2. Akeem Ayers - HATED this pick and he surprised me for a while. Still not a great player, but much better than I ever expected.

    3. Jurrell Casey - LOVED this pick and said it was our best of the first 3 rounds.

    4. Jamie Harper - Thought this was an ok pick. Nothing special.

    5. Karl Klug - Loved this pick.

    6. Byron Stingily - Cant remember opinion here.

    7. Zach Clayton - Never expected anything.

    8. Tommie Campbell - loved this pick.

    1. Kendall Wright - Liked this pick.

    2. Zach Brown - HATED this pick. Was wrong.

    3. Mike Martin - Thought it was a solid pick, nothing great. (UM Bias aside)

    4. Coty Sensabaugh - Didn't like it.

    5. Taylor Thompson - HATED it.

    6. Markelle Martin - Didn't like it. Wont ever contribute.

    7. Scott Soloman - Thought it was a good late round pick.

So... there are at least 12 picks I liked in the past 3 drafts.

You can add me liking Hunter to that list. I also like Warmack as a player- I just hate what we spent for him. (position)

I want another press corner today. If we're converting into that type of Defense we should get two.

Our secondary was good until we lost Albert.

DLine hides the secondary weakness. We need a Dline like we use to have.

Who do you have your eye on? I'm thinking a guy that no one has mentioned yet. Tharold Simon from LSU is a 6'2", 205,4.53 corner who really plays up to his size and is as feisty as any guy in the draft. Watch his tape vs Clemson. Deandre Hopkins did beat him a few times but Simon was in his face all day getting extremely physical with him on the line and within the 5 yard contact zone. His aggressiveness reminds me a bit of Finny but with his size he can back it up physically.

Simon I Think was arrested thursday night.
I have my eye on Sanders Commings UGA. 6ft 215 physical press corner.

We did a private work out with him so that's a good call.
