He tapped himself on the head and almost ripped his helmet off his gloves are so sticky. (I'm exaggerating, but you could see his glove stick on TV)
It's ridiculous for the NFL to allow that. It's obvious that the one handed catches he makes wouldnt be possible without the stickiness. Of course he's not the only one...but there are a few players that make those crazy unnatural catches and it's due to lax rules on gloves and/or whatever sticky substance they're using.

 

We noticed that as well. I actually had to rewind it and watch it again. He could barely get his hands off his helmet.

 

To Hopkins credit though he is the most penalized WR.

 

I don't see a OPI stat. I see DPI which he leads the league in getting defensive PI calls his way.

 

Cornerbacks are fouling Hopkins more than any WR

I am aware of what DPI is.

With your very first post, the way I read it. I thought you were trying to say that Hopkins was the most penalized WR in league. Meaning he was getting called for OPI.

he plays offense, so he is defensively penalized.

 

Hopkins has 6 offensive PI penalties so far.

I can believe he gets fouled a lot because of his talents, but he should be flagged way more often for OPI than he does.
