Time to start D. Henry?

Henry just needs to put in time watching film of Mariota blocking.

 

Twice on the last drive Henry started inside, stopped, then bounced it outside for 1st downs to seal the victory. Hope nobody minded.

 

That first one was amazing. Mariota cleared the way on the final run, but the first one was all Henry.

 

So if Murray can go next week, what should the staff do now with Henry?

I say Henry starts, Murray 3rd down back

 

You ride the hot hand...Much like hockey. They better not put in a recovering Murray, when we have Henry coming off his best game and running angry/healthy....

Henry did show me something yesterday, so I will stop bashing him going forward. He does need to work on his blocking in pass protection, and I still think that we need to pick up a good complimentary back in the offseason, but I am good with rolling with Henry as the feature back going forward.

 

I doubt that Murray is back this season, but if he is I do not see him supplanting Henry on the early downs at this point. I could see some packages where they are both in the game, however....IF he plays (which I doubt).

 

The only time Murray should see the field is on 3rd downs to block and to give Henry a breather. Henry needs to get 70% of our offensive snaps.

 

Hope not too but this staff worries me
