This team is not well coached

playcalling on defense is horrible, at least the offense opened it up most of the game. No reason to only rush 4 and give orton all that time to throw when we have 3 good corners who could all lockup the receiver opposite of them

 

Make his own holes?:eh?: Never seen a running back take the snap THEN block for himself to make holes

 

You've never seen a running back turn a 1 yard run into a 3 yard run? McGahee did it quite a few times today.

 

Don't know how you can call multiple tip balls, several rushed passes, two interceptions and almost two other ones, plus a stopped run game a poorly coached defense.

Also, we won that game, when (if you're counting all those penalties, which weren't all legit, plus the pass we caught that was called back, etc.) according to you and the base statistics, we shouldn't have. How do these things equal poor coaching? Are we just really lucky? I mean, I know I've always thought the Titans were really lucky but who knew it was the prevailing belief?

 

Lets see, new coaches, new QB, RB who held out for 31 days, new offensive scheme, new defensive scheme in 3 weeks after lockout?

I think they did well

 

Penalties were on the refs.

 

The coaches aren't out there holding the opposing team or false starting. It is discipline....and as much as you want to harp on that as a coach..it still comes down to the player being the disciplined one.

 

Easily one of the worst officiated games I have ever seen. TN beat two teams today. The Broncos and the Zebras.

 

Give jones a penalty for a helmet on helmet that was "late" on orton. Then jones gets a cheap shot a good 30 seconds after the play directly infront of the ref and nothing.....Washington makes an obvious catch, a ref from half way across the field calls it incomplete and the challenge doesn't over turn it. Disgusting :sad2:

 

I was more appalled at the noncalls on the Broncos. Ball was held pretty much the entire game. All the late hitting and shoving...Their flags must have been snagged in their pockets when the Broncos were doing stupid tish.

And yeah, that review on that catch was mind-numbing.
