    This is interesting though. Titans could be getting a good deal on McCourty if they sign him now. If he has a good season as the #1 CB, then he would probably be able to get more on the open market than he would be willing to take now.

    Very smart move to lock McCourty up now. You all saw how much money Finnegan got and he is not at all worth that much. Inflation is a MF.

    We did the same thing with Finny the 1st time. Gave him an extension while he was still unknown. I guess after he made a name for himself over the next few years he went after the money
