Slight spoilers for Captain America but most know how that ends anyway. This is apparently what plays after the credits to Captain America. I bet theaters will erupt when this comes on.

It looks awesome. I can believe it is actually happening. The video is pretty blurry but you can make out a lot.

Hard to see much by that. It sounded good... the rest just kinda seemed vague. Teaser, I suppose.

Looks like a typical comic movie trailer though.

The only downer is knowing they're not bringing back Edward Norton as Bruce Banner.

Everyone knows this movie is going to suck, right? Way too many characters to squeeze into a movie. I get that's part of the reason why they made all of the individual movies(and to make lots of money), but there still a 90% chance this is garbage.

It could be the worst movie ever and I'll still be there opening night.

I was worried about it until I saw Thor. It was excellent in my opinion. I didn't know how they were going to fit him in to the world they had created in the movies but the did great.

I think the movie will be largely about Captain America in the beginning. If they concentrate on his character and let the others exist around him it will work.

I assume the Captain America movie ends with him being frozen in ice and found in the future.

That would mean the Avenger movie (at least the first parts) will be Cap adapting to a new world. Meeting new characters, realizing everyone he knows and loves is gone ect.

And that's why we're bombarded with crappy superhero movie after crappy superhero movie. It's really unfortunate. The studios could invest a lot of time and effort in to making quality movies, instead they know they already have a base built in thanks to our generation having grown up with the characters as kids.

Some of them have been high quality: Nolan's Batman series, the first two Spider-Man movies, Iron Man 1, and I heard Thor was pretty awesome. But unfortunately there have been way more Green Lanterns and Daredevils in the genre because most of the characters don't translate to the big screen very well, but the studios don't care.

I'll get off my soapbox now.

    Bad superhero movies? Where?

    Iron Man 1&2
    Xmen First Class
    Hulk (the Ed Norton one)
    Batman 1, 2 & I'm sure 3

The new marvel movies have been excellent in recent years. Except the awful Wolverine movie.
The build up to Avengers has been awesome. Thor might have been the best. I think Marvel knows what they are doing now. It is a shame they can't get Xmen and Spiderman back from Fox and Sony. Fox pretty much destroys every superhero it touches.

I'll see how Captain America works out but it looks great.

DC sucks outside of Batman. Superman, Wonderwoman, Green Latern? Who cares.

The ones that I've enjoyed and people have generally responded favorably to:
    X-Men 1,2, and First Class
Batman Begins and The Dark Knight
Iron Man 1(Iron Man 2 sucked and my GF made me watch it a second time last night)
    Spider-Man 1 and 2
    The Incredible Hulk(Ed Norton)

    The ones that I hated:
The Fantastic Four 1 and 2
    Iron Man 2
    Ghost Rider
    Hellboy 2
    Spider-Man 3
    Superman Returns
    X-Men Last Stand and Origins
    The Punisher
    Punisher: War zone
The Green Hornet(Seth Rogan fighting crime? Really?)
    The Green Lantern

I never saw Thor, but I plan on it one of these days.

The worst part about this is all of these movies have been made in the last decade and some are already getting reboots. We're going into superhero overload.

While on the subject, The Dark Knight Rises teaser is out as well. It's pretty cool.
