Amoint? No. But not dismissing either.... that was an incredible 5 game streak. If he consistently stays 2/3’s that good he’s gonna be a legit issue in the afcs

Bama beat that kid to death twice and he just kept coming. He could be special.

I totally agree. You have to be able to throw the ball. But the NFL evolves with time and film study. It’s really all about how a QB adapts.

Yes. His measurables were not great. Subpar size, wonderlic, 4.6 plus 40, and one of the lowest felicities in combine history- couldnt get out of the 40's. He had a good year running around and teams chased. When teams figure he can't pass out if the picket he will become the sum of his parts. Low ceiling

So if in two years he still hasn't made it, the new HC/OC will be to blame? Time will tell.

I think that given the situation, he won't have hit his full stride even in two years. After all, how many rookies are on their 4th HC and system in as many years?

That being said, I think that he will probably prove to be our man.

Yep. I sympathize with the situation, but at some point it has to be resolved. Are coaches screwing up M8 or vice versa? Owners are slow to admit a high paid, high pick isn't going to make it. Fans like him too. Just remember all the threads about him when he failed to produce, or did a WTF? moment, like lob a pass on the first play. Coaches have to take out half the playbook and hope to run the ball.

The running and the pass to himself were part of the equation...both impressive. But he was 19/31 (with some huge drops), had a clutch touchdown to win the game, carried the team from being down 18 points, on the road, in the cold, in the playoffs. So add that performance to what we saw in year 2, and I think Robinson has seen enough to know he is the qb for this team. He does want a good offensive coach and system to magnify his strengths, but not because he is not sure he has the right qb.

Passes get dropped every week. Goes with the game. Some are caught that were difficult. Hopefully it averages out. Against NE we may not have scored if Davis doesn't push off with one arm and catch with the other. People tend to only remember the good stuff.
