It won't matter who we get at QB as long as this line continues to play poorly.
Lineman blocking lineman and not rotating out on run plays to take out LBs and thus leads to huge losses. What the....? I seen it time and time again with this offense. Who would call a running play when LBs are stacked heavy to one side? You got to establish the run game better than that or its no good especially on the road. It's obvious that not too much work has gone into the running game. Play calling changes must be made. The Titans are officially out of the running.
How many first rounders have we used on OL? Conk, lewan, warmack, who else..schwenke was a high pick if I recall
We are like the Lions were with WR
I was at work and each time I dipped in to watch a play, we were getting gashed or fumbling, or oh.... another sack!
I went to the game and being a Texans fan Id like to see the Titans give Mariota a sizeable contract bc IMO he's a good enough QB That will keep you out of the dregs of the NFL's bottom dwellers but more than likely he's going to get you around .500 +/,- 2 games.....which is just NFL purgatory
Such a disheartening performance
I don’t see Marcus long term here. I think a lot of the reasons the play callers call the game the way they do and have for the past few years is because they don’t faith or completely buy into him. It was 34-17 in the fourth and first play call was a run to Lewis. You need to be playing aggressive at this point and LaFleur wasn’t. This has been a constant problem whether if it’s Robiskie calling the plays or LaFleur.
I just think the time is up. The team needs to move on and he needs to land with a team that will use him correctly. I still don’t think we have seen the best out of him. Not even close.
It saddens me to say that I agree with this.
What sucks is that for non-football reasons he should go to Las Vegas. Hawaiians call it "the 9th island" and there are LOTS of pidgin-fluent people there
I will be chastised for this but I think a good landing spot for him would be with NE as a back up to Tom Brady for a couple years and then when Tom retires he can take over the reigns. I still think he and McDaniels would be a good fit. And he’s the kind of player I think they would try to take a chance on and get something out of.
Just sucks that we're a franchise that can't develop talent, especially at QB. I can't see a vet or a newly drafted QB doing well here. So many problems with the team. Fix that O line asap...
