    When you have a LT, QB, pass rusher, you hold on to them as long as possible

    Those 3 spots are hard to get a guy, if we dont pay Lewan top dollar he will easily get it in 2019 when he hits the market from some other team

    This is a real easy situation TBH, just pay the man, hes proven hes worth it

    Solder's deal raised the bar. Lewan will likely need $14M+ a season depending on where they land with the guaranteed money.

    JRob will probably want a five-year deal which will mean more guaranteed and bonus.

    5-year, $70M, $14M SB.

    Thing is, in three years, we'll think we got a deal on whatever Lewan ends up getting now.

    Doing it now is probably going to save quite a bit in the long run.

    With the way the salary cap is going, lock these guys up soon. When was the last home grown guy to get a big payday? CJ? McCourty?

    On average most teams are floating 8-10 BIG contracts and filling in the holes with rookies and role players, as of today Titans dont have many BIG contracts they have to worry about.

    You have Casey at $14.9M, Ryan at $10M, Lewan $9M, Rak $9M, Morgan $8M, Mariota $7,7M, Walker $7M

    So there you have just 7 guys pulling in big time money. Butlers money was pushed off til 2019, but even then we wont have many big contracts after Rak/Morgan/Walker's deals run out next year...

    We can afford to pay Lewan.

    After that Titans series airs tonight you'll have every fan saying pay that man, hes an intricate part of the team, we better not mess around with this thing and drop a game cause we're stubborn.

    Also worth noting Titan players are only taxed on 3 games in 2018, does he really NEED $15-16M? We'll see
