Yet im the guy whos been right about everything past few years. Yes move on. Smart move.

 

Amd mariota is athletic enough to be better off out wide. TANNY doesn't need to leave the qb spot

 

Tanny used to play WR. Mariota being athletic doesn’t make him a WR.

If I’m a DC, I’m way more concerned about THill as a WR and Mariota at QB than I am wasting the time bringing Mariota in to play WR. If nothing else, I’m less concerned than if a regular WR was standing there. THill is capable of being a regular WR as proven by the 3 years of college playing the position.

And let’s not overlook that we’re talking about maybe 2 plays a game.

 

Everyobe knows at one time he played wr and obviously hed be much better at that than mariota. Mariota sucks. But put mary out there to be the decoy and let the guy who can throw pass

 

It’s just smoke and mirrors so the pats have something extra to plan for. That being said I’d bring in Mariota and line him out wide on 3rd/4th and short situations as a decoy instead of bringing in a wr just to give the d that extra half second of hesitation.

He can throw the ball for a play or who knows, even handoff. Mariota is not a decoy at QB, he’s a step down.
Mariota at WR is nothing more than decoy. You’ve just taken 11 players to play 10.

 

I say we go for the double screen. HIke it to MM, who screen passes to Tannehill, who then throws cross field to Henry who curbstomps his way 75 yards for a TD.
