    Watch the music city miracle..

I have that whole game on tape. Mcnair wasn't sharp at all in that game. Over throwing a wide open wycheck in the flat and that one play when he threw way too inside and it bounced off a linebacker and wycheck had to make an unbelievable catch. Mcnair looked amazingly similar to 2005. But that was back when he was young!

And, what is your point? That Steve was bad in that one playoff game, and he was also bad during the entire 2005 season? He found a way to get us a win in those games in the playoffs though.

Sorry I must have missed the fine print where you were making a distinction between "super Bowl" and "championship".

And how does this make me a hater. I absolutely think we can win this year. But I also think the odds makers who have us about 100/1 to win the Superbowl have got the numbers about right. (I've already backed them at 140's BTW).

With better protection, more reliable production from his receivers and a fit Brown and Henry tandem, McNair can be successful. And he is worlds better than any other QB we have on our roster, or any other QB aailable on the free agent market.

But in 2-3 years time, his body is going to need some serious rest and if wedon't want another "re-building" phase to occur then, we need to nab his replacement now.

This is what McNair is all about.
Do you guys remember how banged up he was?
Still, grit and determination got it done.

This is the McNair I want. I only saw him in flashes last year.
I'm not out to hang him... but if he was cut I'd just move on.
I just hate haveing to look this far back to find the glory...the hero.:sad2:

Bottom line is he is not worth 23 million. Everyone knows it- I hope Steve does as well. In the same light, he still has at least 2 years of B+/A- QB in him. I hope he doesn't pull a "fat-head" Eddie.

If Matt Lienert has the weapons Steve had last year he won't make it to game 2.
