Collins overthrew 3 open receivers. VY looked good running around. Now, if VY is our main QB, then you play your main QB. That is what he gets paid for. It's Collins, then VY, then Collins again, then VY and we get beat by their 3rd string QB, and they had the nerve to play us without a QB. That is down RIGHT embarrasing.

 

Well it's a terrible metaphor.

 

Sounds like VY didnt handle the situation optimally (reports of not rehabbing)
and Fisher probably blew it out of proportion

 

Exactly. Would Manning ever be listed as the #2 QB if he could play? No chance. No Young isn't Manning but the standard should be the same for every QB. Would we have won with Young? Maybe, but we should have let him play 60 minutes not 30 and if we had still lost oh well.

 

There was no difference in Young at game time vs the Chargers and game time today but we all seen what happened to Young in the SD game. There's no way to tell if that ankle that might be at 85% would be fine or not. IF THE DEFENSE PLAYS WELL we win that game with Collins. Once Collins goes down you have to go with VY. No way do you stick Rusty in so at that point you have to roll the dice with VY and hope he doesn't make the healing ankle worse..
Again, it was 10-10 when Collins got hurt. The 2nd half started 0-0 and the defense just laid an egg.

 

If the defense plays well we still get no more points because Kerry CANT THROW! We should have been up 14-21 at the half but because of Kerry we weren't 10-10 doesn't mean Kerry did anything right at all.
