Anyone play the demo yet? I played it the other day, and I was mildly disappointed in it. I've heard a lot of great things about it, but the game was a little complicated. The controls just don't feel fluid. Maybe they'll be some small changes before the game is released. Visually, though, the game looks fantastic.
I haven't played a skate game before, but I agree with you. It was hard to get used to. I had a hard time just doing the nollie thing. Then an ollie, then balanceing my skateboard was so hard I quit. Maybe if I played longer I would get it. I think my general impression was that if the game got good reviews then I'd give it a spin just to understand how to skate a little better. It has my attention, but I need other people to like it before I try it out.
