Pure Speculation - Is Derrick Henry on the Move?

MariGOATa lol He is a good compliment to Lewis it's just getting started. Some sprinters have burst while others get faster on the tail end. If he could just learn a way to use his size like Eddie he would be a beast.

 

Henry works best in the wild cat

 

Problem with Henry is he can't sit in a zone for dumpoff he has to be hit in stride or he won't get any YAC

 

Lewis cant handle that kind of workload

 

Henry's best chance is now with Lafleur because Lafleur has ran a lot of zone run schemes and that is a positive for Henry's skillset. Henry has to have momentum and space otherwise a gust of wind might get credited with a tackle before the opposing defense does.

 

He was just outside of top 10 in YAC while mostly playing behind a battered line.

 

Maybe Conklin return will help Henry bust a few long one’s. I still like Henry , even though he ain’t been too good lately he’s a unique athlete. He also has a great attitude and work ethic and that’s what I appreciate most . He seems team first and all business, just give him a little more time .

 

His best run yesterday was the sweep toss play which gave him the chance to get moving. We tried it again in the 2nd half to the other side but he fumbled the toss.

 

Yards after contact on runs to the outside, not between the tackles. I've already said Henry is very good on the outside when he gets going and had great runs on the outside last year. Between the tackles is a completely different story though.
