Kidding aside, I say we give Kevin Mawae a shot.

...I had this thought just now. Figured he'd be a good coach and I liked the idea. So I went to look up his profile, and much to my surprise, he actually wants to coach and already has some experience with the Bears and Vikings.

Makes sense to me. I'd pull the trigger.

 

And I'll bet he likes Spam.

Seriously, I like that idea. He was a great leader when he was a Titan.

 

He was a very good center, not alot of coaching experience but not a terrible idea if he's interested in continuing a coaching career. The OL is a important part of the team's success though, I wouldn't want to strike out on a hire.

Also he's Hawaiian, good relationship for our QB:8:

 

He would be the type of hire I’d be will to risk with inexperience.

Felt like he was a close to an OL coach when he was here.

 

He was the assistant o line coach for the Bears in 2016. I can't find where he worked for the Vikings at any point. What was he doing this past season? Love the idea of this, just looking for more info.
