Options for getting rid of Vince Young.. if need be.

Maybe we could sign ryan leaf. all that potential you know and he has had plenty of time to watch and learn the last few years.

Vince does what every backup in the league does, works hard, waits for an opportunity, we don't give him one uless one crops up.

If there is no opportunity during the year next year, depending how he has done in practice, he gets a renegotiated contract or he walks.

If he's a QB worth keeping, he works hard, improves his accuracy and knowledge of defenses and makes the most of any opportunity that comes up. If he doesn't do that, he deserves what he gets.

If you ask me, no special treatment. This team is too good to try and "Rex Grossman" Vince.

 

Actually....all kidding aside, I'll bet I know the play that inspired that picture.

The picture is obviously from the Titans@Texans game in 2006....the only time Vince has played in his hometown.

On the second or third play of the game, Drew Bennett beat his man badly, and was 30-40 yards downfield, open by a good ten yards with nobody in front of him. Vince saw this, delivered a strike, and hit Bennett right between the numbers for an easy TD....


....except that Bennett dropped it. Incomplete.


Oops.


And we wonder why Vince eventually went bonkers.
