NFL is a business and they're making business decisions.

Nobody, besides Titans fans want to see the Titans in the playoffs. Even then, seems half don't wanna see them in the playoffs either.

Maybe they're trying to help push the Titans to lose out to get a better team in the playoffs for one, and hope Mularkey gets fired to help get a real coach in Nashville.

As piss poor of a season Marcus has had, the media even is aware of the talent he possess and have hopped on board with the thought that the coaching staff is ruining him.

League thrives and makes it's money on top tier QB play and big offensive stats. Titans currently aren't pulling their weight to bring the league any money.

So it's easier to pull the rebellious teen angle, and make a ball call or decision, and ask forgiveness later instead of doing out it the right way and it blowing up in your face.
