Move Butler to the Nickel.

im cool with him giving up some things here and there, he's a stud inside the 40 yard line on the opposite side of the field.

I was totally with you on wanting Bouye the year before...but most were saying HE was a one year wonder (and he was at the time). Oh well...

 

I was also big on us chasing Bouye but that never happened

 

Butler is lucky as hell. He is living and getting overpaid for one play he made in the Super Bowl.

 

Everyone bitching about Butler but I'm ecstatic that we have someone on the outside physical enough to play press coverage, even if he is getting beat sometimes.

If anyone should be playing Nickel, it should be Adoree, in my opinion.

 

This is where I'm at. He's always given up yards and a big play here and there. He plays aggressive, that's part of the territory. But he makes plays too, has a FF, an int, and is great when the field gets condensed. He's a big reason we have a top RZ D this year.

To the posters mentioning Bouye, that doesn't make any sense. I wanted to pay for him too. But JR brought in Ryan instead, who's been ok but not great. Saying you wanted Bouye in a conversation about Butler makes no sense.

 

It makes plenty of sense, you need 3 good CB's in today NFL, we only have 2
