Somebody help me with this. Did anyone else notice in Infinity War how they made Cap and Black Window look like they had aged a decade? What was with that?

    Just saw it.

I don't know about others but I'm not a fan of a movie that doesn't have closure. I was the same after "Return of the Jedi". I was like:

It was extremely well-done and I was entertained. Some of the dialog was a bit cheesy and seemed to force humor. Like someone else pointed out, wiping out some of the top heroes means the next will reverse things. Killing off Bucky and a few of the lesser heroes, along with one of the more well-known heroes, would have left enough doubt to keep things interesting.

I did like this more than Black Panther but don't think it was better than Avengers 1.[/spoilers]

I enjoyed it, but here's my issue: There are too many goddamned movies.

I have no idea which Captain Americas or Avengers or Guardians movies I've seen. I sat there like "Pretty sure I saw 2.... or was that 3 and I never saw 2? Or I saw 3 and never 2... and then there's this character's movie I haven't seen all 5 f*cking sequels to..."

Too many characters too, so I'm glad Thanos killed some of them.

But why not kill off the painfully lame (and more importantly - entirely useless) ones like Captain America, Black Widow, etc. We saw Thanos being all badass and here come these dweebs... and you're just thinking "wtf are y'all gonna do.... really...?"

Also does anyone even know the character Anthony Mackie plays? Sam? Who the f is that supposed to be? Wingy Iron Man but total sh*t in fight mode?

Where the f was Jeremy Renner's Mickey Ward equivalent fighting ass at?? He even in the Avengers anymore or did they finally boot him out for basically being slightly more dangerous than a summer olympian?

Thanos is that dude though. Knew he was about to murk all of them.

Yeah, it's a lot to keep up with. But they are at least standalone-ish enough that you can still enjoy the movie without having seen everything before it. If you skipped an actual Avengers movie, then yeah you could perhaps be a little lost. But I'd say that's on you. Like, you wouldn't skip LOTR The Two Towers and still expect to know everything's that is going on in Return of the King.

Oh, they'll be back. Count on that. I do agree though it would've been more interesting had they killed off some of the old timers like Captain and Iron Man rather than the newer wildly popular heroes like Panther and Spider-man. If they had done that you'd at least be wondering "Will they come back?" instead of knowing for absolute sure that they are going to bring back these newer characters coming off of super duper successful solo movies.

His name is Falcon. In the comics he eventually becomes the new Captain America.
