Didn't it come out of the horses mouth? I thought he said the staff didn't want him running routes past 8 yards and that was the reason why he wanted out of TN..

    You're completely full of S4it.

I understand that you are trying to cover your earlier trolling, but in fact Mariota did call the plays from the huddle. Amazingly, the Titans turned a 21-3 deficit score around and actually won the game as a result.

That might not fit your narrative, but it is a fact.

Come on with your next line of nonsense, because that game is in the books. It is a fact that Mularkey turned the playbook over to Mariota, and that the Titans won as a result.

It's also a fact that Mularkey took over the playbook for the following game against the Patriots and lost his job as a result.

The dumba55 couldn't go with what was working.

I remember his teammates saying they should let Mariota run plays and turn the offense over to him , that it’s way more effective. That was during Mularkey but I guess he has to be truly comfy in an offense for that to really fly from his and a coaching standpoint.

Other than build, these guys are much different players. Brown can play inside and outside, and he does much more after the catch. Round 1-2 talent, vs. round 7. Brown should and better outplay Matthews lol

That's a theory. Which has been proven to be untrue. Sorry that doesn't fit your narrative that a 24 TD/23 INT QB is actually a genius play caller. That game was no different than the dozen or so other ones over the past two seasons. He plays better in the second half.

Matthews was good. But that didn't really reflect in Mariota's stats in 17.

Honestly, the WR production was mostly a wash between 17 and 18. Missing Walker was the biggest factor. But a pro bowl TE is going to make any QB looka lot better.
