    Should have been the first player taken last summer! He’s 19 and already plays like a 5 year veteran. Mark my words, this kid is special and has all the tools to be a top 5 player! If you ever watch him play, you can just see how well an offense runs when he’s the floor general.

    The one knock on him is he’s not the most athletic guy but once he adjust to NBA athletes and puts more work on getting quicker in the off-season, he’ll take his game to the next level and will be in the conversation for MVP for years to come.

    There’s a fine line saying someone will be good and saying someone will be an MVP candidate! There were still two other players taken ahead of him!

    Guys from over seas hardly ever pan out but the last one who did (dirk) is on the same team as Donic so that’s a good sign

    Atlanta made a bad decision trading him for Young, but the MVP talk is little far fetched. I could see perennial all-star but dont think he'll reach MVP caliber.

    He is young and will certainly get better, but to put him in the same category as Durant, Harden, Davis. I just cant see it, at least not at this point. But he will be good and possibly the best player from this draft, just not buying him as future MVP.
