Just compare his stats to any other starting QB.

In the interest of being reasonable i will say Locker will probably not make it. But he is certainly not a lost cause. And i do not think we have seen alll he is capable of.

We are both oldschool fans. You remember it took timr with McNair. And i am sure you remember people booing McNair and calling for Neil o'Donnel to start. With some guys it takes time. And with Locker i am not completely ready to give up.

That's been my whole argument, The Hammer..

This is the reason why I said that Locker is holding us hostage. He's had his up and downs and that's why some people want to move on from him and some people want to give him another chance.

Locker is playing tug of war with us right now and it really sucks, due to the fact that we have a chance to get another QB with the 11th pick.

I am a Locker supporter and think taking a qb in the first is a good idea. Not just taking a guy for the sake of taking one. But if they think a guy will be good then take him. QB is too important. Would rather have two franchise qbs than none. Beaides there is always demand. If you have two franchise qbs you can always trade one for a high pick.

    You're a Locker supporter and I'm not.

Yet, there were games where Locker made me a believer and he amazed me. He really reminded me of a white McNair. You have got to love an QB who can run and pass.

Part of me wants Locker to succeed, but at the same time I want to draft an QB in the 1st or 2nd, just in case he can't succeed. But what if he does succeed and we end up drafting an QB in the 1st or 2nd round?

Once again, this is the reason why I said Locker is holding this franchise hostage.

Then we trade one of them for a high pick. Like the niners did last offseason.

We aren't in any position to experiment with that. Who we draft at 11 is suppose to help us right from the start.

I beg to differ there. We do not have major immediate needs. This year would be the perfect year to make such a move.

You don't waste an 11th pick, when you don't even have any sure fire players in place that can take us to the next level.

We have huge needs in a ton of positions.

Yeah but it all means nothing if we do not have the qb
