Posted by ESPN.com's Paul Kuharsky
INDIANAPOLIS -- We've gotten our taste of Vince Young.

We won't judge too much on a small sampling, but he doesn't look a whole lot different than the last time we saw him for an extended period. He was off target, he took a while to sort things out, threw a lot of checkdowns, failed to sense a rusher closing and was stripped.

Jeff Fisher indicated during the week we could see Chris Simms as well as Young today.

This game is pretty much over at 23-0, Colts.

Simms has made big strides as he's finished working his way back from a lacerated spleen he suffered while playing for Tampa Bay. He's a free-agent to be. The Titans may know whether he's part of their plan or not. But with less than 10 minutes left in this game, the only thing I can think of that would be compelling the rest of the way is a snapshot of Simms.

Simms also sucks (but most people knew that).

    We need NOD.

Hardly fair to judge Simms based on one series.

Young on the other hand is a starting QB who lost that status. He looked like he's looked in his last 18 games.

Simms career has been crap. He wouldn't have looked better than his previous games either.

He was playing well before the injury season.

His stats are crap but I watched a few of his games in 05 & he was playing well.

If his stats were crap, he can't have been playing well...

lots of stat QBs play for losing teams, always throwing into soft coverage as defenses are protecting leads. One of the reasons backup QBs often put up better numbers than the starter.

But I agree with you if all things are equal
