This is dead on. If Locker would have had the experience to force the ball he may have been able to draw a pass interference call. But, the refs will never make lessor calls in that situation.

The only way it wasn't a missed call is if you tear some pages out of the rule book. Anyone can see that that was clearly illegal contact. Williams was pushed in the end zone, which is more than 5 yards past the line of scrimmage. And Mariana was pushed when Locker was in the middle of the pocket, so that was illegal contact as well.

 

No. Honest questions. Given GoT's deficiencies in the correct use of grammar and spelling I figure he was still learning. I learned many years ago that if you take enough time to structure sentences correctly it usually gives you time to communicate logically.

Let's say, for the sake of argument, there was a missed call. As Jeff pointed out, anything less than a blatant call is ignored in that situation. But, that was not where the Titans lost the game. They lost the game by allowing the Saints to build a 22-10 in the fourth quarter. If they had kept is closer they would not have been forced to burn so much clock in trying to catch up.
