Kyle Brandt spits some truths

Guys this is the 1st week we've had media coverage and it's because we beat the super bowl champions.

Not the fact we beat the most talked about defence the week before or pressured the hottest qb from last year to a loss. This is our time and Kyle knows we ain't getting the media. Last year he was raving about titans and that was about it for nfl network.

We are a contender for playoffs and should be respected as so, Kyle knows this and is mocking those who are stuck 10 years ago.

 

The things tourists enjoy in NO are in line with what the city is about as a whole, for the most part. But Nashville felt like a generic while collar corporate city trying to be like Austin, with a Vegas-esque emphasis on sucking as much money out of tourists as possible, with some really forced and fake southern mannerisms. It has no identity. But it's working well for the city.

 

Not to mention that the organization itself was caught backdooring tickets to opposing fans

That’s more embarrassing than the amount of playoff wins from 2004-2016. That’s one of the multitude of reasons I haven’t been to a game in Nashville in years now.

 

Screw the media. Even if we won the Superb Owl, the media will be talking about how the other team lost it instead. This team just needs to focus on beating the **** out of each team we play and winning.

 

What part of town did you go to? Even though it is pretty obvious.

I am not sure what "the city is about as a whole" is supposed to mean. Nashville is a musical city and a food and drink city, and there are music venues and cool bars/restaurants all over the city, that cater to tourists or locals.

 

Be above mediocre and people will care. Titans have only occasionally been that, in the last 15 years.

People care about a team when there is a reason to care. Winning one playoff game in 15 years or so, is not a reason for the average person to GAF.
It’s as simple as that.

Nobody cared about the Colts, until Manning came around. Believe me, colts season tickets were easily available in and before 1998.

 

This is what I was going to get at. If he just visited the tourist trap areas, then I can see how he got that impression. But that isn't remotely Nashville overall.

 

I don't have a dog in the fight since I have myself never really enjoyed Nashvegas and I grew up there....but watching an NFL game one would think it's all honky tonk bars, Gruhns guitars and boot barns on every corner....just saying.
