JRob or JFlub

JRob is a draft your whole team kinda guy. He isnt the GM that will make the trades we wanna see CONSISTENTLY. Now hes done a good job and it shows with us winning more games in the past 2 and a half seasons. What is hurting js is gameplanning and playcalling. TBH im not a big fan of our defense scheme. So much man and predictable blitzes . Malcolm Butler is not a man 2 man corner. He belongs in a zone scheme where hes responsible for a area not the whole field. Simple fixes we could make.

Offensively we arent using our strengths. Its like that on both sides IMO. Well see what happens if we suck the rest of the year ..wont be good news for Mariota or the cordinators

 

We did win a game with Gabbert . And a couple of backup tackles who J Rob also brought in. So, there's that.

 

Worth having this conversation. I've been in J Rob's corner from the beginning but 3-3 and 2 straight games without a TD will rightfully start this discussion.

 

Hard to have the discussion here. It is as polarized and tribal as everything else is. People are all in one way or the other....without budging.

A GM is going to have hits and misses. I just think many went all in with "JRob is God" mentality. Once that road is taken there seems to be no coming back. Lol

 

What about the JRobd vs Jflub debate

 

The addition of a practice squad WR is all JRobbed made this week, as if it wasn't obvious enough that he's going rookie QB next year to buy himself and the player's coach a few free years via "rebuild".

JRob seems to be the Ted Thompson of the AFC South. Doesn't want to spend money in FA just build through draft. Execpt he was able to find good WR with his time with the Packers in the late rounds.

 

It’s too early for this discussion. Coaching is obviously still trying to figure it out.

 

I 100% see him drafting a high round QB. If not, better go O line heavy
