Is there a guy you would move up for in this draft to get?

If we have not addressed our O-line by draft time and DeCastro is still on the board at 16 I would give Jets a call. Offer our 20th and 3rd round for the 16th and their 5th round. Points wise they are the winner, but we still get the same number of picks and we have an elite player that fits a need. About the only player I would move up for and the most I would give up for him.

 

I'm pretty sure we are just going to move amano back to guard and grab a center...makes sense cuz that's where he got his contract from, he just isn't quick enough to get the ball off and still get his block.

 

There is no team in the NFL that would trade an early first round pick for Chris Johnson. There is no team in the NFL that would trade anything of significant value for Chris Johnson. It's about time the members on this forum come to accept that.

 

Speak for yourself. Trent Richardson is as overrated as the SEC he plays in.

 

Justin Blackmon is the only player I think would be worth trading up for if we were to trade up. He's gonna be a legit NFL star WR. He's ready and even more impressive than Dez Bryant was coming out. That said though, we definitely have too many holes to consider trading up for anyone, especially a WR.

There is nothing that suggests that TR will not be great, but I'm not sure any running back is worth what it would cost to get him... and a CJ trade simply isn't feasible.

 

if decastro is there at 15, I'd be tempted to jump ahead of the Bears, Cowboys, and Chargers to get him. From what I hear, decastro is one hell of a guard and could really help our run game. I would rather trade back or for more picks to load up on pass-rushers. This draft is very deep in d-line, but no d-ends really stand out as a clear number one.

Again, all this is dependent on what we do in FA. I'd like to pick up o-line in FA and load up on defense through the draft.

BTW: Mark Barron had hip hernia surgery this week, so he won't even be ready for the combine.
