I’m sick of Andrew Luck. So yes edge is a top need.

We have a rookie who flashed some ability, but hardly set the league on fire. A 37 year old man. And really nothing behind that.

So yeah. I'd say edge is a big need.

Gabbert sucked, not defending that but the lack of pressure was a huge part of that loss.

1 sack, late in the game. Also gave up 119 to marlon Mack. The fact that the colts still had 40 minutes of game clock says the D did t play well.

And let’s not forget both of the first 2 drives of the game, the colts went for 90+ yards and a TD, 1 of which was 13 minutes and were 12 and 16 plays respectively. Both drives, Luck went 7/8 with a TD.
That’s not Gabbert or the offense at all. They pinned the colts back, got zero pressure and let luck rip them up.

    1 of 9 on 3rd down.

The TOP or loss isn't on the offense at all? The defense scored nearly half of our points

why are you always worried about where "blame" goes? its a team sport, both sides sucked that game.

this thread is about whether we need edge... we do

Edge pressure lives and dies by your interior push. We had none in 2018, hence why we need to find guys that can collapse and push the pocket....Interior rush=better edge pressure...better pass rush, easier time for DB’s. See the pattern here?

We talk about interior pass rush as if it is easy to casually pick up an elite interior rusher whenever.

we just need an elite rusher... but we need a starter on the outside so we gotta lean that way imo

I’m fine with either honestly, but we do have pass rushers. Landry, Finch, Correa, could kick out Evans....Who do we have inside? Daquan Jones? Austin Johnson? Lol....We got 1 dude....Casey. God help us if he goes down....
