And Suh should have drawn a flag immediately after that on the same play as well. Offsetting fouls and the one on Alonzo still counts.

    Same result.

I don't think the hit on Flacco was dirty or penalty worthy.

I think the ravens also have a history of being dirty, so the "retaliation" hit doesn't surprise me at all. The OLman got butt hurt that Flacco slid too late and got himself knocked silly for it.

It is almost as if different refs are entirely different people and sometimes see things differently!

Yeah and it's like the rules don't matter refs just make it up as they go!

Rules shouldn't be subjective. These people are trained on what is a foul and what isn't.

Also, the same refs call things differently from play to play and game to game.

Yea, Flacco slid late. His a$$ wasn't even on the ground yet when he got hit.

It wasn't a flag and shouldn't have been.

Wrong. According to the NFL rules, if you hit a sliding player in the head with your helmet, shoulder, or forearm, even if the officials feel you couldn't avoid contact, it is a penalty.

At what point of the slide? I mean Flacco was about half way down. This is where the subjective part comes into play.

Once the slide has started, the officials can only give the defender the benefit of the doubt if they don't hit the head.
