I expect to get a lot of hate saying this but..

Well- that is a fair enough statement. I'm of a different opinion. I have zero faith that this team and coaching staff are capable of going far into the playoffs. Winning the remaining games does very little to support changing this coaching staff. A higher draft pick gives us more options to build personnel from, but I'll even admit that it doesn't GUARANTEE success in improving our personnel. It only improves our chances.

 

I understand that building for the future is. However, at this point and until the end of the year, there is nothing we can do about the future. So winning might as well be the top priority for the remainder of 2013.

 

I hear you on getting the better player. My position though is I want to believe there are players here worth building around. That we have guys with the right combination of heart, talent and physical ability. Making the playoffs would be a good indication that we have some guys here worth building around. Even if it costs us some draft spots.

 

So why can't you say you want us to lose out?

Basically you want us to lose out so we guarantee new coaches and more draft options, but won't commit to that statement. I guess cause you are also going to be happy to see the team win if it ends up with us in the playoffs? So basically no matter what happens you will not be happy. Ok- now that actually makes sense!

I think its a whole lot harder for things to be in perspective here after a loss

lol just last week people were ready to end the season and tank, now we control our destiny
