Horton will get lead these guys to glory. Helped the lowly Browns become the 9th ranked D in the NFL with their biggest name on D being Joe Haden. I think he can help revitalize the careers of players like Wimbley if he is still on the roster next year and help make the defense back to the glory days of 2000 or even 2008 when we had kerry collins at the helm and when 13-3 despite him!

 

If Williams was kept you would've preferred Horton.

 

This is fantastic news. This guy is one of the better defensive minds around. Few years back, I recall some of us wanting Horton to interview for our HC job before it was handed to Munchak.

I'm excited to see how the 3-4 will come to fruition (although I have some reservations). But an aggressive, attacking group that includes Casey, Ayers & Brown excites the hell outta me. If we can keep Morgan and add Mack/Barr at #11, Jesus we are going to be good.
