Um, did you SEE how he dumptrucked Manning and then some SD kid? Why wouldn't you want that guy blowing people up on special teams?

According to PFF he had 3 missed tackles on 21 snaps - probably attributable to rust.

I don't like wishing injuries upon anyone - but I would really like to see what our LB corps could do with McCrutches IF he can stay healthy.

Well normally I would want him on ST, but not when he's half our run game, when Greene returns to the lineup, then Battle can have all the ST plays he wants

So Mccarthy will start this Sunday. Let's see how he does. Fokou is out hurt.

Hopefully we get Greene back also. No more carries for Reynaud

I like McCarthy but he played badly on Sunday. Hopefully it really is rust because if he can return to what he was he'll be a scary defensive football team.

I don't know guys, I must have a different opinion of McCarthy. He takes too many chances for my taste. Looks great when he shoots the gap and gets a big TFL, but when he shoots the gap and whiffs he ends up creating a big backside hole and we get gashed. I think he does it because he doesn't get off blocks well. Hopefully, he's better in pass coverage than Fokou.
