Faulk says Titans known for not paying players (new CJ contract)

    And think of the increased revenue if we actually won a superbowl (or even went again).


    Think of the loss of revenue if this season is non-playoff and the main reason is that CJ doesn't play several games.


    But I have to say the most likely outcome is the Titans win (sort of) and CJ shows up and plays to start the season. I think he'll take a few more runs out of bounds however.

    But we really don't win. Because next offseason we WILL redo his contract and it will affect the cap considerably.

    (And then when someone suggests signing some expensive free agent everyone will gang up on him and say "oh you'd run the franchise in the ground, we can't spend money like that we couldn't re-sign our own blah blah blah". Well just remember, we COULD sign those guys if we'd maximize our future cap potential by re-signing CJ now.)

    Whatever- he was never my example. I just added he didn't stick around.

    And only Dickerson as far as I know has gone over 2000 yds in their second season.
