Lmao... just stop. Burnett has less career tackles and sacks than Berry. You clearly don't know what the :grrr::grrr::grrr::grrr: you are talking about.

Again: He's got a case at being CURRENTLY better.

Forget 2007. Sir "you bring up 2007 stats!". In 2008 he was better at everything but int return yards and sacks.
And you only get sacks if the coach allows you to be in the backfield. GT's doesn't...so that's irrelevant.

Though I'm not saying that. I'm just saying if there's a gap- it's not a big one between the 2.

Okay everybody let me be the voice of reason here, there's too much arguing going on . I have already stated I like Eric Berry for the Heisman (some disagree) there are plenty of reason to argue he wont win, but thinking he shouldn't be rated so high because he isn't going against the better offense's in college football is a bad way to go. He cant play the better offenses because the SEC doesn't allow offenses to do their best. To many good defenses to have a whole bunch of good offenses down there. I cant say Morgan Burnett isn't good either, he has the numbers that say otherwise. Here's the clincher though; Morgan Burnett is the only player I even know at GT and I at least think that's how he got those stats. But that doesn't take away from his abilities. Both DB's are good, no doubt about that. So we will have to wait and see. Slime chance a defender wins anyway so anyone really pressing that either DB wins is most likely wasting their time.

i don't care if he wins the Heisman, as long as he's on the board when we draft

Berry will probably win the Thorpe award because he's popular and will probably play well enough.
But I doubt playing for a 6 (at most) win team will do him any favors in Heisman voting. Plus, we know that's an offensive players award anyway... unless you're Charles Woodson :).

Colt McCoy should have the Heisman on lock.
