They literally assign the Guard position to the least athletic players

Guards dont matter, that's why JR has pretty much ignored it for 3 years

Guards are an after thought

That’s exactly why I think we will like Bradbury. He can play both guard and center. He has some nasty film and he plays with intensity. Jrob eats that up....

I still want defense, and naturally, I think we look there as well. I think it will be DT/DE on defense, and OL/TE on offense. Just my gut. It all depends on how the draft plays out ahead of them, but if bradbury is sitting there, they will look real hard man.

Eh I don’t know man....TE’s do more...and we have no clue what are majorly injured stud Walker is going to be upon return. He is also 35. Jonnu didn’t impress, and Mary loves his Tight Ends. We already have Davis, Humphries. Taylor, etc. Could we use another and will we take one? Absolutely. I think they do it rounds 2-3 though....

 

When we draft a guard in the 1st we end up with the Warmack's of the world. When the Colts draft a guard in the 1st they get Quenton Nelson. Ugh.

The fact remains that pass rusher is a need and much more valuable than guard. You could find a serviceable guard in the 4th or 5th round. Heck, Spain started for like 3 years and he was a UDFA. I'm not taking an offensive lineman in the 1st unless it's a tackle and we already have 3 of those.
