Ruston rip, who am I kidding, I hope he is in pain.
Contract lowers his cap hit for this year, gives us about 23 mil in space now......
Where did you see the breakdown?
Only a $6 million cap hit this year?! Good lawd JROB. Now we have plenty of cash for Clowney or more.
We will have roughly 20 million after the rookies sign.
"And we have grown from the time I got there. (In 2016) we just missed the playoffs, (in 2017) we got into the playoffs and went into the second round. This year we went to the AFC Championship. We have grown as an organization and as a team and I think that speaks volume for the direction we're headed."
That's exactly the type of player I want to see as the face of the Titan's franchise. The culture has changed in recent years and the future looks bright.
Love how this deal is structured. Every piece of it. 12.5m avg is fair and gives him what he deserves. 6m in yr 1 gives us some needed flexibility to bring in Clowney or someone else. The big dropoff in dead cap hit gives us options in year 3 and 4 if he declines. It's perfect.
It's kind of a weird situation and deal.
A.Henry accepted what he is worth in today's NFL.
B.We give him a fair deal no cheap stuff or anything.
King Henry this is for you.....but its for Clowney too.
