Cyprien - Player of the game

Outside of knocking Kelce out Cyphrien made one good play all game and fail on a lot of others... that being said knocking out Kelce was big.

 

Last week he failed to do the one thing he is asked to do... tackle. I never cared if he squandered his coverage responsibilities, because frankly, we knew that about him. In this particular game he tackled and delivered the hit on both Kelce and the possible reception in the 4th, and he was there on the key 4th down pass to deliver a hit if needed. I was proud of him.

Sylvester Williams has been playing well as of late too.

You aren’t a top 5 rush defense without a NT. I think he’s been better than most people realize this year.

 

Cyp actually came up clutch at the end. On 2nd and 9 he displayed great pass coverage and on 4th and 9 he was sensible enough to break up the ball but was not overly reckless to cause a defenceless receiver penalty. I was impressed.

 

He also drew the holding call that negated the 1st down on the last drive.

Totally agree, and that 4th dawn break up was huge to kee the receiver from hanging with the play.
